Colin Clay (Head Coach) Qualified TDA LTA Level 3

Colin has worked for the LTA for the past nine years as the Tennis Development Manager for Essex. During this time much experience has been gained working in all aspects of Tennis. A key interest in developing young players, enabling them to play and compete successfully at club and national level. Sharing the experience of being a tennis parent gives a rounded view of playing and participating. Colin was appointed head coach at Billericay In January 2008 and took up the position in March 2008. Colin is well known in Essex for his work at the LTA. |

Graham Lister (Coach) Qualified CCA LTA Level 2

Graham learned to play in his native Australia before pursuing a successful career in ‘pop’ music. Has been coaching since the 1980’ and has spent the last 10 years as Head Coach at Billericay building a productive junior program.

Alex Rouse (Coach) Qualified LTA Level 1
|
Alex has coached for many years in Germany, recently returning home and benefiting Billericay LTC with his wealth of experience. As a player Alex enjoyed success as a junior player and in 1991 achieved an ATP ranking of 750. Although Alex has a very busy schedule he still represents Essex at County Level. |

Rebecca Garner (Coach) Qualified DCA Level 1 |
Rebecca started playing tennis at the age of 12 progressing to play in the Essex County Squads at 16. At 17 she received a scholarship to the University of Memphis playing collegiate tennis for 4 years and attaining a degree in Sports Management. A very productive tournament schedule winning over 40 events and achieving a LTA rating of 3.1. Rebecca returned to the UK in 2004 and has coached at Billericay LTC since her return. |

Nichola Waring (Head Coach Mini Tennis) Qualified DCA LTA Level 1

Nicki is employed at Deanes School as a Community Tennis Coach gaining much experience in delivering tennis to players 10 and under, including working with schools and in a very large club program. Nicki is a qualified LTA tutor in delivery of Key Stage Education courses to support teachers and young players. A specialist working in a very important area of attracting and developing young players. |

Liz Brooks (Assistant Mini Coach and Child Protection Officer) Qualified Tennis Assistant |
Liz has been a keen member of the club for many years. Working in local schools providing care for children with individual needs. Assists in the development of young players and supports the juniors in providing regular Competitive sessions on a Saturday Morning. |

George has been coaching for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience to the team as a coach and as a player, playing National and International tennis in the early 80’s. |
