Welcome to the Billericay Lawn Tennis Club website. The purpose of this website is to provide information about Billericay Lawn Tennis Club, its history and its current facilities. We hope it will be interesting and that you will find all the information you need.

Billericay LTC is a modern progressive tennis club located in the town of Billericay in Essex. We have some of the most modern tennis club facilities in Essex.  We have a large four-acre site with ample parking, well maintained grounds, a large brick-built clubhouse and 10 tennis courts. All ten courts are floodlit to County standard illuminations.    For more information about the club go to the About Us page.

Billericay Tennis Club and The Sound Financial Group agree sponsorship arrangement

Billericay Lawn Tennis Club is delighted that The Sound Financial Group continue to sponsor the club. Club Chairman Les Cambridge is seen receiving the sponsorship cheque from Sound Financial Group directors, Paul Spires and Andrew Hall. Tennis club Treasurer Richard Lehman commented that the funds will be used to help the club support the development and ongoing coaching activities with local Schools.

The Sound Financial Group is a local firm of independent fee-based Financial Planners and Advisers who have been advising local people on their financial affairs for the past ten years. Paul Spires said this is a first venture into local sponsorship for this company and one that we hope will benefit the club and its members over the coming years. The tennis club tries to cater for all levels of player from the complete beginner to the experienced player. There are various coaching sessions that you can join. See the Coaching page for more information.

Lost property is normally stored at the club for a period of 1 month after which any item not claimed is disposed of by the club. If you have lost an item please contact the club.

Billericay Lawn Tennis Club offers several different categories of membership to suit a variety of standards and needs, from complete beginners to experienced players.  Why not join? Billericay is one of the best clubs in Essex for competitive tennis. In particular, the mens teams have a long record of success in local and county leagues. We also have successful junior teams in the local leagues.

Air dome plans approved

Now that our planning application for a temporary air dome has been approved at the Basildon Council planning meeting the hard work will begin to present a fully justifiable proposal to an Emergency General Meeting of the club members. The date for the EGM has not been discussed yet but the club hopes to have the dome in operation for next winter. For more information go to the Members Section.

The club has a thriving junior section with over 300 juniors playing and enjoying tennis. Billericay has a comprehensive, structured facility for young players from the age of 4 through 18.
